Best wedding photography wins a Fearless Award | Cambridgeshire and Essex Documentary Wedding Photographer

What a way to round-off the year to find out I won a Fearless Award!

Despite picking up a family version of this award in the sister competition, this is the first time I got a Fearless award for a wedding photograph I took. It’s a tough competition with so many incredible images entered from across the world - only 1-3% of submissions are awarded Fearless Awards in each round to represent some of the best documentary wedding photography that are present now. It means winning one of these coveted awards is very special.

Of course, I could not have done this without thanking my wonderful clients who I’m grateful to have worked and continue to with. It is their trust in me: giving me the freedom to document their wedding and capturing real, honest and unscripted moments of their day that I can make pictures to truly reflect how it feels in the photos.

Black and white photograph of a bride radiating unscripted joy on her wedding day with laughter and smiles in her wedding guests as a gust of wind draws her veil over the father of the bride's face. Taken at Leez Priory wedding venue in Essex.
