Barley Town House Wedding Photography | Hertfordshire Wedding Photographer
“We chose Diana as our wedding photographer after being very taken by her natural documentary style and after receiving our wedding photos we're so glad we did! She was very easy to work with and communicate with throughout the whole process, and she took time to understand who the people at our wedding were in advance as well. On the day, Diana unobtrusively captured the emotion, atmosphere and events. We're most pleased that, without us even noticing, she'd captured the emotion and expressions of all the relevant people at the appropriate times which was wonderful to have in our album. We would thoroughly recommend Diana to anyone.”

Beautiful Hertfordshire Spring Wedding Photography
Ollie and Jenny are two of the loveliest people to work with. We immediately clicked in our first consultation as they wanted their wedding to be captured in a natural, documentary way without interfering or staging and wanted emotive storytelling photography as they saw in my wedding portfolio.
So, on a beautiful spring day in March, I had the delightful honour of capturing their wedding at the Grade II listed venue Barley Town House in Hertfordshire, on Royston’s doorstep. The picture-perfect wedding venue is shy of the border from Cambridgeshire where my day started with capturing the bridal prep and groom photos at Cambridge Lakes - a set of bespoke self-catering lodges next to a lake with stunning views of the countryside - from which Jenny and Ollie had hired for themselves and their family to stay for the whole weekend for their wedding celebrations.
Ollie and Jenny’s intimate wedding at Barley Town House was full of sweet tenderness and warmth. The cosy and inviting reception room was perfect for their ceremony while the spacious room above gave them the opportunity to be creative - decorating it with natural foliage, flowers, and having open-seating tables for the wedding breakfast and dance floor. Later on, the ceremony room was transformed into an entertainment room with vintage games and props for guests to have fun with.
I loved every minute of capturing their wedding and was so pleased that they love the photographs and saw in that they reflected the true emotions and told the events of their day.
Below are a few images of my favourites moments from the day.
