A Christmas Storytelling Session | Photography Gifts & Ideas | Cambridge Family Documentary Photographer
There is real meaning in the words about gifts that keep on giving. It is especially true with photographs that invoke continual feelings and give tangible memories of moments that have passed.
Photographs of an ordinary day in your life or a much-loved family tradition can be enjoyed for a long time for months and even years. They make a perfect gift to give to your husband or wife, grandparents, other relatives and friends.
The Gift of Photos - A Family Documentary Christmas session
Photo gifts can be given all year round — on birthdays, Christmas or as a present for new parents.
Last year, I met this beautiful family for their half day-in-the-life session in December. The photoshoot was bought as a birthday present from the husband to his wife, so she and their son could have some pictures together. They loved the natural, storytelling photos of a documentary photo session and having meaningful photos that captured a time in their lives with photos of all three of them too.
She wanted to do the photoshoot during one of her favourite days in the year when they would get their Christmas tree and decorate it at home afterward. It’s a seasonal family tradition enjoyed this holiday season.

Christmas (Un)wrapped
With all the festivities coming up in the run-up to Christmas and families likely gathering together, you could save on wrapping presents and give your loved ones a fun photo session that they could appreciate and remember forever. Or hire me as your photographer and I could help beautifully document your family as you spend and enjoy this seasonal time of year.
Diana Hagues Photography offers gift vouchers to buy at whatever amount you want to give and can be spent within a year - suitable for bookings in 2020! If you would like to book a Christmas storytelling session for your own family, you can email Diana at hello@dianahaguesphotography.co.uk.
