Family adventures along the Ouse Valley Way | Huntingdon Natural Family Photographer
The buttercups were in bloom when we had this family photography session at Houghton. The weather was good for their outdoor session, which they wanted around one of their favourite walking spots that takes in the beautiful river setting around Houghton Mill. They watched the boats bobbing gently in the lock as we took a stroll across to the hay meadow. It was fun watching mum and daughter running through the field of yellow buttercups and the children played buttercup games evoking fond memories for everyone.
Back at the mill, it was lovely seeing the two siblings making a collection of wildflowers and grass pile together. They also fashioned a den with help from dad and mum checking it was structurally sound. They climbed trees before it was time to earn a snack for all their energetic efforts. It was a privilege to get to observe and capture some memories of this beautiful season of their life.
