An Everyday Playground photograph wins award in Fearless Family Photographers!

So proud to share that this photograph of my children playing on play equipment at the park has won an award from Fearless Family Photographers! The international family photography competition features over 90 images selected by a panel of distinguished judges, which can be found here.

All the images featured captured emotion, humour, connections, laughter, tears, tantrums…Basically, representing real life, real people, real families! Real moments of art captured by some of the best documentary family photographers in the world.

I am so happy my documentary family photograph has been picked as I haven’t entered many awards in the last year, mainly as life has been busy and miss out on competition deadlines. But also because I decided that I want to be more selective in where I put out my work and have my photographs showcased that feels both meaningful and worthwhile supporting, such as in exhibitions and publications. However, winning a Fearless award is a dream come true as the organisation shows the best work in family photography! It also follows the award I got from This Is Reportage Family Awards in 2020.
